Working with us

Do I have to live in Stayton to work with you?

No. We've been a hometown firm in the Stayton area since 2001, and we also work with clients across the country through secure online tools to share documents, review returns, and stay in touch.

Are you open outside of tax season?

Yes. We're here year-round, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm — and yes, we're here in August.

How much do your services cost?

Every situation is different, so we don't publish a price list. Reach out and we'll learn about what you need and give you a clear quote.

What kinds of clients do you work with?

Individuals and families, small business owners, real estate investors and small farms. For businesses, we work with sole proprietors, S corps, C corps, partnerships and LLCs.

Who will I work with?

Our team is small by design. We don't shuffle clients from one preparer to the next — the person who helped you in March is the same one you can talk to in August.

How do I get my documents to you?

Whatever is easiest for you. Drop them off at our office at 142 W Washington St in Stayton, or share them securely online through our client portal.

How can I pay?

We accept credit and debit cards, ACH bank transfers, and payment through our secure client portal.

Cost segregation

What is a cost segregation study?

A building is made of many parts. A cost segregation study separates those parts into categories that are depreciated over shorter timelines — like 5, 7 or 15 years instead of 27.5 or 39 — which can accelerate deductions into the current tax year.

Does my property qualify?

Cost segregation is usually worth exploring for commercial or residential rental property you've recently purchased or constructed. Try the free instant estimate on our cost segregation page, or reach out and we'll take a look.
